ATM LOCATOR LINKS PAGE
Here are some links to major international credit-card companies ATM locators.
American Express© -- a little confusing in that you have to select which of several ATM networks you want to check; if in doubt, check them all -- there aren't that many, with only 4 listed.
Diners Club© -- this isn't actually the ATM locator page itself, as you have to HAVE the Diners Club card to get at that page. This link takes you to the Thailand-based website for Diners Club (which is run by CitiBank, so don't be confused by the www.citibank.com URL), to the page where you put in the first 6 digits of your card number and then click on the "GO" button directly to the right of the box where you enter those numbers.
MasterCard© -- this is a really easy-to-use link directly to the Thailand page, where a drop-down menu gives you a list of ALL the cities in Thailand which have ATM's that accept Mastercard -- and it list alternate spellings in case you learned the Romanization differently from other ways of rendering the name into the English alphabet (a problematic process). It also lists *areas* within Bangkok, so if you know you'll be staying or living in, say, the Bangrak district of the capital (where many of the upscale hotels are located, and widely considered the "downtown" area of a city that doesn't really even *have* a downtown), you can restrict your search to just that area.
Visa© -- this will take you to a page where you select the region -- Asia-- the country -- Thailand -- and then the name of the Thai city in which you want to locate ATM's. And you HAVE to put a city name in, so try alternate spellings if a check turns up nothing before deciding Nakhon Nowhere really doesn't have an ATM which will accept a Visa Card.
